HOW WU D3 TREE CAME TO BE
WU D3 TREE started when two brothers, Thin Lignin and Big O Dendro, were trying to think of a way help their parents. Their mom and dad work long hours at difficult jobs and they don’t get paid very much. The two boys were trying to figure out how to make some extra money to help out. They talked to their grandpa, DJ Jebediah Ironwood, and he had an idea. DJ Jebediah was a hip hop DJ back in the day, and he told “Thin” and “Big” that he could teach them about hip hop and maybe the boys could make some money as MCs.
Eventually the two brothers hope to make enough money so that one or both of their parents quit their jobs and then they call all spend more time together.
The two brothers worked hard to improve their skills became decent MCs. But they realized they couldn’t do it on their own, so they convinced their grandpa to join them and form a hip hop group. This was the start of WU D3 TREE.
The next step was to put together an album. DJ Jebediah started putting beats together while “Thin” and “Big” started writing and practicing their flow. When they were ready, they all built a little recording studio in DJ Jebediah’s basement and recorded it there. And now the album is done and it’s out!
